Welcome to The Morning Dew’s Official Website. The Morning Dew was a very successful rock band from Topeka, Kansas during the 1966 to 1971. The band toured through-out the Mid-West and was one of the hottest psychedelic bands of the era. This site is a tribute to their humble beginnings and rise to one of the more regionally recognized bands of the time. The Dew has released many re-releases and has been featured on complilations since that time to the present. Some of these re-release of material can be purchased through Cicadelic Records.
The Morning Dew produced two 45 RPM releases (No More/Look At Me Now and Be A Friend/Go Away) and one Roulette Records vinyl album titled At Last. The 45 RPM records produced one hit with No More which rose to #9 on the regional radio stations.
At Last was recorded in New York City, New York on Roulette Records. It is a highly collectable album to this day and is in demand by the collectors. Kerry Livgren, of the band Kansas, co-authored with Mal Robinson the song Save Me on this album. It is his first officially published and recorded song.
The Morning Dew spent much of their career touring performing one night stands in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Nebraska. They did play extended engagements at Ron’s Town House located at Bagnell Dam, Missouri. The band was renowned for its energetic stage show, strobe lights, smoke and visual effects.

Kansas Music Hall of Fame
The Morning Dew has been inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame for 2010. The induction ceremony was held at Liberty Hall-Lawrence, Kansas on March 6, 2010. More information can be found at The Kansas Music Hall of Fame website. After 40 years since last performing together, The Morning Dew performed live at the event with former members Mal Robinson, Don "Tommy" Sligar, Don "Andy" Anderson, Blair Honeyman, and David Howell.
